Introduction

Vibrio parahaemolyticus belongs to the Vibrionaceae family and is a halophilic marine zoonotic pathogen widely distributed in marine and salt lake environments. It is found extensively in coastal seawater, marine sediments, seafood, and pickled foods worldwide. Consumption of raw or undercooked seafood or pickled foods contaminated with Vibrio parahaemolyticus can lead to severe acute gastroenteritis, making it the leading cause of bacterial food poisoning in coastal regions of China, with the incidence rate reaching up to 68.0% in recent years. Globally, 50% to 70% of foodborne diarrheal diseases are also caused by Vibrio parahaemolyticus. Therefore, rapid detection is crucial for the prevention and control of the spread of Vibrio parahaemolyticus.

This kit is for Vibrio parahaemolyticus nucleic acid detection kit, based on the independently developed isothermal amplification fluorescence detection technology by GenDx. It can qualitatively detect Vibrio parahaemolyticus in the samples being tested. Through real-time amplification curves, it can quickly determine whether the sample contains Vibrio parahaemolyticus. It is suitable for the detection of Vibrio parahaemolyticus.
