If a wound is exposed to seawater containing this bacterium, Vibrio vulnificus can proliferate at the wound site, potentially causing ulceration and even tissue necrosis. Consuming contaminated seafood can also lead to gastroenteritis. Developing rapid, accurate, and easy-to-operate detection methods is crucial for controlling Vibrio vulnificus infections, ensuring the development of aquaculture, and enhancing food safety.

This kit is for Vibrio vulnificus nucleic acid detection, based on the independently developed nucleic acid testing technology by GenDx. It can qualitatively detect Vibrio vulnificus in the samples being tested. Through real-time amplification curves, it can quickly determine whether the sample contains Vibrio vulnificus. It is suitable for detecting Vibrio vulnificus.
