Introduction

Vibrio harveyi is a luminescent, Gram-negative bacterium widely distributed in warm coastal seawater, marine sediments, and on the surfaces of marine animals. It is closely related to Vibrio carchariae. Vibrio harveyi can infect various marine vertebrates and invertebrates, especially farmed shrimp. It mainly infects animals in the larval stage and juveniles, causing symptoms such as opacity, reduced motility, bioluminescence, and mortality.

This kit is for Vibrio harveyi nucleic acid detection, based on the independently developed isothermal amplification fluorescence detection technology by GenDx. It can qualitatively detect Vibrio harveyi in the samples being tested. Through real-time amplification curves, it can quickly determine whether the sample contains Vibrio harveyi. It is widely applicable for detecting pathogenic microorganisms in aquatic products.
