Introduction

Streptococcus agalactiae is a pathogen that causes mastitis and is commonly found on the skin, teats, and udders of dairy cows. It spreads through the hands of milking personnel, milking machinery, and flies acting as mechanical carriers. This type of streptococcus does not produce significant immunity after causing mastitis.

This kit is for Streptococcus agalactiae nucleic acid detection, based on the independently developed isothermal amplification fluorescence detection technology by GenDx. It can qualitatively detect Streptococcus agalactiae in the samples being tested. Through real-time amplification curves, it can quickly determine whether the sample contains Streptococcus agalactiae. It is widely applicable for detecting pathogenic microorganisms in aquatic products and food.
