Introduction

Aeromonas hydrophila is widely distributed in various natural water bodies and is a primary pathogen for many aquatic animals. It is an opportunistic pathogen and a typical zoonotic pathogen affecting humans, animals, and fish. Due to its widespread presence in nature, especially in water, Aeromonas hydrophila was generally considered a normal commensal bacterium and its pathogenicity was not given much attention for a long time. It wasn't until the mid-to-late 1980s, when fish diseases caused by this bacterium became widespread in China, causing severe damage to fisheries, that it started to gain attention. Since 1986, food poisoning, waterborne infectious diseases, infectious diarrhea, secondary infections, and septicemia caused by Aeromonas hydrophila have frequently occurred. Its pathogenic effects have become a public health concern.

This kit is for Aeromonas hydrophila nucleic acid detection, based on the independently developed isothermal amplification fluorescence detection technology by GenDx. It can qualitatively detect Aeromonas hydrophila in the samples being tested. Through real-time amplification curves, it can quickly determine whether the sample contains Aeromonas hydrophila. It is widely applicable for detecting pathogenic microorganisms.
